Most people think that depression and anxiety are similar to each other but that is not the actual fact. Both are quite different from each other and the difference must be known to everyone in order to recognize it properly. An anxiety attack is a stress condition which affects the body and this is directly linked to an individual who is suffering from the attacks. While on the other hand depression has its role in anxiety attacks simply by being a predecessor to anxiety. The person undergoing such troubles definitely undergoes depression and he can sense about the next attack that will harm him in any way. Majority of people who suffer from this condition or have true anxiety attacks will be linked to panic and anxiety disorders. This requires a good and permanent treatment which will be effective.

Most of the doctors recommend Anti-depressants along with anti- anxiety drugs since it is known to them that both are related to each other in some way. Most of the drugs are highly addictive and do have some side effects. Anxiety disorders produce worry, panic, fear and anxiety while on the other side, depression is linked to self pity, hopelessness, despair and anger. Both of these are different from each other and disturb the daily activities of an individual along with change in behavior. Studies have shown that about 85% of the people suffering from depression do suffer from generalized anxiety disorders as well as obsessive compulsive disorders. Even the medication procedure is quite similar in both the cases. There are so many different drugs and exercises present which will help in reducing this disorder. Yoga can also be useful in terms of reducing stress from the mind. So it is better to follow the various recommendations given by the doctor.

Depression is not so serious if an individual thinks that he would be able to cope up with this problem. On the other side, it seems difficult to diagnose it since this requires time for better understanding along with careful evaluations of the various conditions in the case of depression. Doctors at its early stage prescribe some of the anti-depressants which are just to cure the early symptoms of the disorder. The best therapy which really shows its effects is called group therapy. The group can actually comprise of your close relatives, family members, good friends, neighbors etc. Some depression chat rooms are also available. Whenever the person thinks about some serious matters or takes tension then he may not be able to get proper sleep which is required for getting a relaxed mind.

So, try to get away from tension and complete your sleep for about 7 to 8 hours. Sleep is the best source to reduce tension and stressful conditions. This will reduce the stress thereby helping in making you feel relaxed. If an individual is not taking good sleep then along with depression it may also lead one to suffer from insomnia. Even after sleep if a person is not able to reduce tension, then it is better to opt some other methods such as meditation, yoga, exercise etc.

Simply like sleep, good diet is also essential which is required to get good amount of energy to perform work. Diet should be full of all required nutrients. The basic thing is that diet should be according to the type of work an individual is performing. The person doing heavy tasks does need extra supplements. Go for various brain foods which will enhance the thinking power and allow the brain to take quick actions. These points will help an individual to cope with the situation and also take good responsibility.

When an individual is facing some difficult situations like anxiety and depression, the most important thing he/she expects is a soul mate that can understand him and give the actual support he needs. The fact is that most of the people who face this situation would not be able to co-operate with the normal activities and the only feeling that comes out is that you are alone because nobody loves you. Depression and anxiety disorders make an individual totally helpless and there will be no option other than bearing it. The person must be accepted socially since this will help in healing his feelings. It does not mean that you will put an artificial mask of smile or sympathy in order to make the suffered person happy.

Do not try to act as if everything is alright and try to accept that individual the way he is. The first thing is to feel better by acknowledging and accepting the various experiences. Try to follow some rules which will drag an individual to think positively and also do something good. Instead of crying, shouting etc. it is better to find some other new options. The most common fear that an individual comes across is how to face the society? This unbearable thought never allows him to stay happy and calm. So, the best cure for him in this situation is basically the behavior of the people. Once you accept the feeling of depression, then it will not allow you to disturb your life. Instead you will find some new insights which will drive you to a new path. The most important thing is to keep in touch with a doctor or the consultant since this is required in most of the cases.

Anxiety is just a deep feeling in which a person undergoes a state of fear. Most of the times, various experiences are linked to the past which create such situations but it does not mean that it will not affect the other person. This can be due to any reason but more specifically it occurs due to major factors which do not appear in normal human beings. The rate of depression is much higher in women as compared to men and this at some instances is not realized by them. Some of the major causes are listed below:

Hormone fluctuations

This is very common thing that hormones may fluctuate due to various factors in both males and females. This leads to anger, mood swings and also restlessness. Menopause actually is the main reason for fluctuations in hormonal tendency. There are so many other factors which cause tension and then stress related problems.

Dual responsibilities

It is the most common reason for depression or anxiety disorders. Supporting a family is a very big risk and this must be handled in a very smooth way. An individual should know how to tackle with the various situations at home or in office. Prefer not to mix up the problems since this will create so many other tactful disharmonies.

Unhealthy diet

Healthy diet is must not only for the working people but also for the normal person who is not indulged in any activity. The food must be fresh and should be healthy as well. Improper food affects the health and the result will be visible within few hours or days. To reduce tension or stress try to follow healthy diet. The diet should be completely enriched with various vitamins and minerals.

So, follow various guidelines to be fit and healthy i.e. free from diseases.

Depression or anxiety is the most common word since this is the second most common type of disease. Millions of people suffer from this disorder and try to opt for various methods for curing it. This is because this not only affects the physical appearances but also leads to mental problems. Some problems may be mild but others can be serious. The most important but real thing about it is that the real cause of depression is still unknown. Most of the physicians say that it can be due to some chemical imbalances. There are many different things which make an individual feel like hell and pressurize him to be alone. At this point there must be someone who can support him emotionally since they need immediate help and support.

They need plenty of support of people whom he/she finds trustworthy. The various supportive people can be either his friends, of course the family members, relatives and/or neighbors. That is why a person should follow some points or guidelines to provide support to such people and these are:

Try to accompany him to the best recommended doctor in some serious situations

Try to support him with full emotions i.e. he requires emotional support and so it is better not to act smart and be emotional. Engage the depressed person in some other impressive talks so that the mind would be diverted to some other side.

Make him to get involved in some important activities which give good entertainment and fun

Change his thinking into positive thoughts such as towards god so that one can relax.

Talk about flavorsome and healthy food so that he will have a strong urge for it.

Get good solutions for all types of negative thoughts which will reduce his tension.

So, in order to give good support to the depressed person, it is better to be true and not put fake masks.

Anxiety is a very common factor which in turn leads to other disharmonies. This is linked to stress and the most common term called depression. The impact of such abnormalities is quite hard on the human health and must be dealt properly with. Its cure is very essential so that the person will get out of this harmful condition. The first thing is that do not think that you are the only person who is bearing this condition, there are millions of people who are facing it. It affects the mental health on its extreme by interfering in your daily routine. This will make it difficult to cope up with regular activities, thoughts and feelings. Social phobias are mostly accomplished with panic, stress such as post traumatic stress and obsessive-compulsive disorders.

The various impacts of this on mental health actually include trouble focusing, bad temper, feelings of apprehension, dismay, obsessions about the feelings trapped in the mind of an individual suffering from this disorder. The environment around us makes it difficult to tolerate anxiety and the major factor for this is the various tasks. Tasks may be very difficult and improper sleep; tension related to household gossips is another reason for stress and anxiety. Tension in the muscles results in headaches and thus discomfort for the whole body, sleepless nights really affect the mental balance since mind needs some relaxation which is not possible in depression.

Fear of unusual things does not allow a person to carry on the regular activities even when someone consoles and helps out. If a person is mentally disturbed then no doubt that he will not be relaxed at all. Mental effects will then affect the digestive system and later the total health of a person.
Is it right to differentiate between sadness and depression? The answer is yes since until an individual knows what kind of disorder he is having, the cure becomes difficult. Many people think that sadness is depression which is actually not true. Sadness basically is a temporary phase of life which may be due to some serious reasons and whenever an individual gets an efficient source of entertainment then definitely he gets out of this condition. The case of depression is quite different from sadness. Sadness is experienced by almost all the human beings which can be due to tension or stress related to heavy work load.

Although the symptoms of sadness may be linked to that of depression or they may seem obvious as well. The various symptoms are:

ü Lack of energy

ü Problems in sleeping

ü A common feeling of dullness

ü Suicidal tendency

ü Negative thoughts

ü Loss of appetite

ü Not in a position to communicate with others

ü Little motivation, etc.

Sadness can be due to some common events or situations which are obvious since it is human nature. Sadness can get healed with time. On the other side, depression is a condition which is difficult to handle and many people are totally unaware of handling it.

Depression makes an individual –to always be in disturbed condition since no one knows when the sudden attack will appear, not even the person who is suffering from it. It may become manageable after a regular period of time but the chances of its occurrence are always there. Depression leaves a negative impact on the individual and does not allow him to go towards positivity. So finally it can be said that depression actually influences the personality of an individual and makes him totally dull which is not in the case of sadness. So, it is better to know the difference between the two words.

People think that anxiety is just a simple disorder as compared to various diseases like heart disease, Blood pressure, Diabetes etc.; but just a minute, do not try to neglect this serious disorder since this is linked to so many incurable consequences. This disorder is actually experienced by every individual but some may understand it while others neglect it. The various severe effects related to depression and anxiety will not only trigger the mind but also affect the whole body which is no longer a healthy body. During the attack a person may have cloudy head, heart beats will be fast, sweating without any reason, fear, irregular breathing, trembling hands etc. These all are the various but small symptoms of panic attack.

In the first panic attack, the body acts in response by drenching the circulatory system with a large amount of hormones such as adrenaline or insulin. The supply of oxygen to the brain decreases due to the increased sugar level. Such changes give an indication of some abnormalities. Such effects are totally new to the body which can be easily recognizable but should not be neglected. The various issues linked to this problem can be:-

Stroke: This is a very hazardous condition which occurs when an individual does not get proper supply of oxygen i.e. the supply of oxygen is cut off from the brain.

Depression: This is the situation which appears when a person is constantly getting panic attacks.

Respiratory issues: Rapid breathing constantly will affect the normal functioning of the lungs which will thereby decrease the amount of oxygen to muscles and brain.

Alterations in looks: This affect increases the aging effects which totally bring about change in the appearance. The person appears dull, depressed etc.

So, it is very essential to get proper cure for various disorders that are faced by an individual.

Anxiety is not a new term since it exists everywhere and affects an individual in many different forms. Anxiety deals with many different types of problems and it is essential to know the perfect measures to cure it. The various types are as follows:

Social phobia

This makes a person to always think about the unusual facts related to society and creates a fear of awkwardness or mortification in many different situations.

Panic disorder

Such disorders occur suddenly with intense and acute anxiety which creates a very tremendous condition around the person.

Generalized anxiety disorder

This exists for around six months which is a type of chronic worry or anxiety and this occurs due to more stress on mind.

goraphobia

This is related to the fear of very dangerous panic attacks which actually starts when an individual gets something to do anything beyond the safest place he/she thinks. Such problems lead to avoidance of a wide range of important works.

Specific phobia

This situation occurs when a person develops a strong fear related to any particular thing such as water, flying etc.

Post traumatic stress disorder

Development of anxiety disorders due to some bad happenings such as rape, disaster, accidents etc. Whenever an individual comes in contact with such disasters then the anxiety attacks occur.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder

The person in this situation behaves likes a mad person since he always try to confirm the thing or work that he has performed earlier such as opening and closing the doors again and again in order to confirm that whether it is closed properly or not.

Such problems make an individual feel depressed and thus he always neglects people, important works and so many other things.
